- If you like the economy of the Bummis
pant (or any pull up cover), but don't want to deal with pins, try the
Snappi. It hooks the diaper together with fasteners that are similar to the fasteners used in Ace
bandages. You don't have to use pins and you are free to use any diaper cover that you
wish. If you are using a diaper cover that closes with velcro, you probably
don't need to use a Snappi. If you are using a fitted diaper that fastens
with snaps or velcro you do not need a Snappi. If you are using a pull on style cover or end up
with a diaper that sags in your velcro closing cover, you may want to try a
Snappi. Click here to see how to use a Snappi.
They need to be exercised before use. Warm them up by stretching each leg as
far as you can. Stretch each leg a few more times, pulling the legs out as
far as they will go each time. The snappi is now ready to use. When using
them, pull out the legs as far as they will go before hooking the diaper.
Available in white or assorted colors.
Made in South Africa.

A close up of the Snappi hook.
Prefold diapers are so
thick that the hook doesn't come near baby's skin. It only hooks the top
two layers of diaper.
