This cover is made two layers of soft polyester knit with a waterproof laminate (urethane) sandwiched in the middle. Heavy duty elastic at the tummy and legs is bound with the polyester knit for a great fit.  The polyester fabric does not wick, so moisture stays where it belongs. A good cover for nighttime. There is an extra panel of fabric that covers the stitching in front where the snaps are fastened. Lots of babies only use up to the medium size before they are potty trained - less covers to buy. The large and extra large size with a toddler prefold are great for older toddlers and children who still need a diaper at night. These wraps work with prefold or fitted diapers.

There seems to be a debate about whether these covers work well. The 'trick' to these covers is that they need an absorbent diaper to work well. These covers do work great with all of the diapers that we sell with the exception of the Kushies Basic diaper. If you want to use unbleached diapers with these covers, you need to make sure that the diapers have been well set up first. If you are using prefolds and have an active (crawling or walking) baby, the velcro covers work better than the snap covers. For newborns and pre-crawlers, the snap covers work with prefolds and fitted diapers.  Machine wash and dry. Comes in Ivory.

Diaper Cover Quick Guide

For these covers, you are looking for waist and leg measurements that fall in about the same place in the range. When trying to decide upon a cover size, start with the suggested weights and then see if the waist, leg and rise measurements of your baby fall into the range of that cover. If you start with the measurements you may end up with a cover that is way too big. The smallest leg measurements were taken when the cover was fastened on the smallest waist setting. If your baby’s waist measurement is on the lower end of the range and the leg measurement is on the higher end of the range, the cover will probably be too tight at the legs. An exception to that seems to be the Bummi Super. The leg gussets are not sewn like the other covers and seem to be more forgiving. Made in Canada by Bummis.
